Technical difficulties with the blog website...as I had a ton of pictures to list.  Hopefully I can get this to work better this time!

The back porch deck has been completed!  Just need some steps.

Let the insulation begin!  Yesterday they did the spray insulation in certain deemed "necessary" areas of the house/shop.  Today begins the pink stuff!  Things are finally starting to roll on quickly!



June 28

Although I don't have any shots, we did pass our HVAC and electrical inspection. Next week begins with insulation!

May 22

Long time no see!  Things have been extremly busy, and I need to get some updated photos.  Plumbing has been roughed in.  Electrical and HVAC is in progress and hopefully wrapping up soon.  Bryan finished siding which was a huge accomplishment....yeah Bryan!  I don't have any pictures, except with your newly painted red front door.  Hopefully we can get fully/finally painted the actual exterior color soon.  More to come!

Sorry for the delay in posts....but things have been busily moving along with the house progress.

Electrical underground piping is in, and telephone poles are up.  Just waiting on CL&P to hurry up with the Sandy clean up and come our way in early December....

Electrical box on the house...also gives a sneak peak at the house color too!

Bryan has been working hard to get the casings around the windows, the water table up and the corner boards.

More progress on the shop.  Bryan has been working hard on getting the siding up...which looks great!

Week of 6/21

I have been battling challenges with my computer, so I haven't posted in some time; luckily a lot of the work that has been done up to now is somewhat transparent to the naked eye.  If you talk to Bryan, he has been working like a dog to keep the progression rate moving forward.  Below are pictures from this week.

View from the side.  We marked out studs and added the furring strips to the shop.  We are feverishly painting the rough sawn boards for the shop so we can get them up.
